Mic Troubleshooting

Storable CRM requires microphone access in order to connect as an agent. To prevent potential interference with multiple applications that utilize your computer's microphone, we recommend disabling the Exclusive Mode setting in your Windows system settings. Follow the steps below:

Close your browser and any apps that use your microphone (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.).

Open your Settings.


Click System, then select Sound.


In Windows 11 (shown below), click More sound settings. In Windows 10, click Sound Control Panel.

In the Sound pop-up menu, select the Recording tab.


Select your Microphone and click Properties.

Select the Advanced tab and uncheck the box labeled Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.


Click Apply, then OK.


Reopen your browser and try again. If the issue persists, restart your computer to ensure the new settings take effect.
