Set up new locations so your team can manage leads, calls, and reporting consistently across your portfolio.
Quick Start
1. Open the Locations list and select the option to add a new location.
2. Complete the core General details, including contact information and address.
3. Configure office, access, and (if applicable) contact center hours.
4. Add the logo and images customers will see in communications.
5. Save the location, then unarchive it so it becomes active.
To integrate a location with your management software, contact Storable CRM Support via chat, email at crmsupport@storable.com, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
Newly added locations are automatically archived upon creation. You must unarchive a location before you can fully configure its settings and activate services.
Add New Locations
-
From the Locations list, select New Location (A) to create a new location.
Only fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required to add the location. For full system functionality, complete the remaining fields and review the related settings articles for details, leads, collections, employees, evaluations, tracking numbers, and communications.
For more information on advanced configuration, see the following articles: Details Settings, Leads Settings, Collections Settings, Employees Settings, Evaluations Settings, Tracking Numbers Settings, and Communications Settings.
In the General section, enter a reporting-friendly name in Location Name (B) for internal use.
Enter the customer-facing name in Friendly Name (C) for use in text and email communications.
Set the main inbound call routing in Primary Number (D). You can add multiple numbers separated by commas so inbound calls ring all numbers simultaneously; the first number is used for outbound calls and reporting. Note: If using Collection Manager only, this is the location’s main line. If using CRM (lead manager services), Storable CRM tracks your mainline separately and uses the primary phone field as a unique, non‑advertised line that connects to the location.
If the primary contact point is a SIP address, select This Is A SIP Address (E) and enter the required username, password, or extension.
If you use a different number for outbound dialing, enter it in Outbound Number (F).
If the outbound number is a SIP address, select This Is A SIP Address (G) and complete the associated credentials.
-
Enter the publicly advertised phone line in Display Number (H). This is typically the number of customers who call and can be used as a variable in templates.
Enter the physical street address in Address1 (I).
Add any suite, floor, or additional location details in Address2 (J).
Specify the city where the physical location exists in City (K).
Select the country from the dropdown in Country (L) (United States or Canada).
Select the state or province from the dropdown in State (M).
Enter the postal code in Zip (N).
Select the appropriate time zone for the location in Timezone (O).
If the location observes daylight savings, toggle on Daylight Savings (P).
Enter the primary contact email address in Email Address (Q).
-
Enter the customer‑facing website URL in Website (R).
Configure Hours
In the Hours section, set when staff are on site in Office Hours (S).
Define when customers can access their units in Access Hours (T).
If your organization uses Contact Connect (Contact Center), configure staffing windows in Contact Center Hours (U).
-
To quickly apply a consistent schedule, use Apply Monday Hours (V) to copy Monday’s configuration to the remaining days for Office, Access, or Contact Center Hours.
Add Miscellaneous Information
In the logo and images area, select Choose File (W) to upload logos and images used in external communications. After selecting files from your computer, review the thumbnail preview. To replace an image, use the Remove option that appears after upload.
To ensure logos and images aren't distorted on Paylinks, you should use:
A horizontal 4:1 logo, such as 400x100 or 800x200, or
A square 1:1 logo, such as 400x400 or 800x800.
Both formats display well in the Paylink. Vertical or portrait logos may appear too small.
Select Edit Variables (X) to define custom, location‑specific variables that can be used across the system. For more detail on variables, see the Edit Variables article.
-
Enter any notes that should appear on the lead card in Location Alerts (Y), such as special instructions or unique policies for the site.
Save The Location
The Save icon is disabled until all required information has been completed. You may need to scroll back to the top of the page to access the Save icon.
When required fields are complete, select Save (Z) to add the new location.
-
If you do not want to keep your changes, select Cancel (AA) to discard the information and return to the Locations list.
Activate The Location
After you save a new location, it appears in the Archived list. You can continue configuring the location while it is archived. When you are ready to launch, unarchive the location so it becomes active.
-
Open the archived locations by selecting Archived (BB) from the Locations list.
-
Locate the new location, then select the corresponding Checkbox (CC) so it is highlighted for action.
-
Select Unarchive (DD) to activate the selected location. The location moves to the Active list and is now enabled in the system.
