The Custom Variable Location Override Import option allows you to import variable location settings for tenants. This is particularly helpful when migrating from Storable CRM V1 to V2, as it automatically carries over existing location preferences without requiring manual entry.
To import location override settings, follow these steps:
Click the Settings icon for administrative settings.
Click Custom Variable Location Override Import on the left-side menu.
To ensure proper formatting on the phone & text number exclusions, click the CSV template option.
The .csv template file is downloaded to your computer. You can fill in the fields with custom variable location override settings.

Once your .csv template is ready, click Browse File and select your location override spreadsheet. Click Import.
If the import is successful, you will see a success message
If the import is unsuccessful, you will see a failure message. Verify that your exclusions list has the same headers as the .csv template file shown above.
If your import fails, it’s likely due to improper file headers or to more than 5% of the data not being downloaded correctly. If the data has a failure rate of less than 5%, the data is uploaded successfully. Please contact support for assistance with any exclusion records that were not successfully uploaded.
After the import is complete, you can verify that the location override settings have been updated.
