The Custom Variable Location Override Import option allows you to import variable location settings for tenants. This is particularly helpful when migrating from Storable CRM V1 to V2, as it automatically carries over existing location preferences without requiring manual entry.
To import location override settings, follow these steps:
Click the Settings icon for administrative settings.
Click Custom Variable Location Override Import on the left-side menu.
To ensure proper formatting on the phone & text number exclusions, click the CSV template option.
The .csv template file is downloaded to your computer. You can fill in the fields with custom variable location override settings.
The .csv file includes a mapping sheet with required field information. It can be used to ensure correct data entry into the .csv template. The correct location override template includes the following three column headers:
Name
Value
LocationId
Once your .csv template is ready, click Browse File and select your location override spreadsheet. Click Import.
We recommend importing a maximum of 2,000-3,000 records; importing more could cause a delay or failure in the upload process.
If the import is successful, you will see a success message
If the import is unsuccessful, you will see a failure message. Verify that your exclusions list has the same headers as the .csv template file shown above.
If your import fails, it’s likely because of improper file headers or more than 5% of the data wasn’t downloaded correctly. If the data has less than a 5% failure rate, the correct data is uploaded successfully. Please contact support for assistance with any exclusion records that were not successfully uploaded.
