Connect Storable CRM Data To Snowflake

Storable CRM

Use Snowflake to analyze your Storable CRM data to monitor performance and make data-driven business decisions.

Quick Start
1. Create or sign in to your Snowflake account.
2. Retrieve your Snowflake account URL ID and send it to callpotentialdata@storable.com.
3. Accept the data share, create your database, and run the provided scripts to enable access.



Create Your Snowflake Account

Users need to create their own Snowflake account to access their Storable CRM data.
For inquiries about Snowflake data, email our support team at callpotentialdata@storable.com.

  1. Go to http://www.snowflake.com and click Start for Free.

  2. Create your Snowflake account. Enter the required information and click Sign Up.

  3. Complete your profile setup by providing the following information:

    • Company name

    • Job title

    • Snowflake edition (Standard is recommended)

    • Cloud provider (choose AWS)

    • Region (choose US West - Oregon)

  4. After entering your information, click Get Started and answer the profile questions that appear.

Snowflake will send you a confirmation email. Click the activation link in that email, then create your username and password. Once you can sign in to Snowflake, continue to the next section.


Get Your Snowflake URL ID

  1. In Snowflake, click the plus sign (+ Worksheet) to create a new worksheet.

  1. Copy and paste SELECT CURRENT_ACCOUNT(); into the worksheet, then click the Run icon.()

  1. Copy the URL ID returned by the query and email it to callpotentialdata@storable.com so we can enable the data share for your account.

  2. After sending your URL ID, click the Home button and wait for confirmation from Storable CRM that data has been shared with your account ID.

Create Your Snowflake Database

  1. From the Snowflake Home page, click Data Sharing, then click Internal Sharing on the left side.

  1. Locate the V2EXPORTS Download icon and click it.

This opens the Get Data window. It does not download data to your computer.

  1. In the Get Data window, click Get Data in the bottom-right corner.

  1. When prompted, click Done to finish creating your database.

Link Storable CRM Data To Your Database

  1. After your database is created, the V2EXPORTS Download icon will change to a share icon. Click the Share icon to view the setup script.

  1. In the script window, highlight and run each section of SQL separately. You will need to share each section of data individually. In the example below, this is ACCOUNTADMIN;. Highlight each section separated by a semicolon.

  2. Replace the default password with your account password before selecting that section of data. In the example below, this is shown as MyPassword12345!.

  3. For each highlighted section, click the Run () icon in the worksheet to execute it. Repeat this for all sections in the script until they have all run successfully.

Once all commands have run without errors, your Snowflake database will be linked to Storable CRM and ready for analysis in your own Snowflake environment.
